The Chubby Fish universe represents the struggle of fishermen against the deep and dangerous oceans to hunt sea creatures and earn money. The challenge is not only the ocean itself but also competing with other fishermen in the same region. Fast and large boats are advantageous during the hunt. So, it’s better to grab a legendary boat. The main objective for players is to purchase a boat, sail the ocean, and catch highly valuable fish before their opponents. $FISH is the main currency of this universe, where players aim to earn as much as they can.

Gameplay

The core dynamics of Chubby Fish revolve around catching fish using boats. Players begin their adventure by purchasing a default boat or an NFT Boat, each offering distinct advantages. Default boats, while limited in their ability to navigate the wavy and deep seas, can go fishing every two hours and require maintenance after each return to the pier. In contrast, NFT Boats boast stronger and more durable features, allowing them to fish every half hour and withstand harsher conditions.

While out at sea, players aim to catch wooden, bronze, silver, gold, and diamond-covered cases, each containing valuable treasures at the bottom of the sea. Upon returning to the pier with these crates, players earn experience points (XP), $FISH points, and one of four categories of fish: common, rare, epic, and legendary. These points and fish constitute the player's earnings.

Caught fish can be sold in third-party NFT markets or converted into $FISH points within the game. Consistent daily fishing allows players to accumulate points and progress in the game, enhancing their skills and upgrading their equipment.

By strategically managing their resources and participating in regular fishing expeditions, players can maximize their earnings and climb the competitive leaderboard in the Chubby Fish universe.
